Good for you as Rich Hippie and Aftelier are glorious yet rare finds. There are very few companies left who follow the methods of the great perfume masters of a century ago. Most perfumes these days are synthetic and can't offer the same depth and complexities of a natural artisan perfume, not to mention that 'parfum' is considered a trade secret and therefore brands don't have to list the carcinogens and hormone disruptors they put in them!

Good for the environment because Rich Hippie, Jo Wood and Primavera (Soil Association approved), use only organic or wildcrafted essences and Aftelier also use these whenever possible. But all three make their perfumes from pure and natural ingredients, with not a nasty old synthetic in sight.
